The Science experiment

This is about making parachutes. On the left is me making my parachute. The right is Hunter holding the parachute. I, Ethan, am turning the air up on the blower. I turned it up because it was soft and I couldn't get my parachute to fly. I turned it up so the wind could be stronger so my parachute could fly. Then it worked. My parachute could fly. But some of the other parachutes were stuck on the top edge of the tube. (Mom: Why did the parachutes fly?) Because the air was pushing it. (Mom: Why didn't your parachute fly when the air was going slow?) Because it couldn't carry the metal round thing (Mom: the washer?). Yup. The end.

The baby check out

All four of us, including Elle's baby and Barbie (but you can't see it), were laying down. When we saw Garrett laying on the floor all three of us got on the floor like him. Then we started watching TV. I called Momma and she came in and took a picture. Then we got back up and we were done. The end.

The baby check out.

The new year day

Today is a new day. The day of a new year. Um...{giggle} STOP! {more giggles} what does that say? {LAUGH!} Stop it now! Stop it. What?

Sorry, Momma was being silly.

We went to Grandma Diane's house and hanged around with our cousins. (I've got the hiccups right now). We like new years, like 2009 is the date right now. This year I'm going to Elle's birthday. We got to see our Uncle Danny shoot up fireworks up in the sky. Anytime Uncle Danny put it up in the sky it would launch and it would pop and make fireworks. The end.

The Ancient Tale

Me and Momma made an Egyptian death mask. We made it out of clay. And after that we cooked it. And then after it was ready we took it out and painted it. And then after we were done we went and played and then Momma came in and saw that hers was broken from little Elle. It was like King Tut's mummy mask. A mummy is a dead person that lives in Egypt. They wrapped them up in linen so they wouldn't rot. They took the lungs out and the brain. They got the brains out by getting this tool that sticks in their nose and pulls out pieces of the brain out their nose. They kept the heart inside because they need it. They took out the organs and wrapped them up and put them back inside or put them in these special jars. They wanted them to live when they came back alive.

Chemistry Experiments

We were using red cabbage juice. It was purple.
If it turns blue or green that means we added something basic. If it turns pink that means we added something acidic.

Then we put soda stuff (baking soda) in the purple cabbage juice. It turned blue. That means it is basic.

(Vinegar hypothesis: blue) Vinegar turned the cabbage juice pink. That means it's acidic.

(Milk of magnesia hypothesis: green) Milk of Magnesia turns it green. It means that it is basic.

(Milk hypothesis: black) Milk turned into nothing. It stayed purple. That means neutral.

Uncle Daniel's first time eating a Monkey brain

This is Uncle Danny and the cute little guy for the third time. Behind you kind of on the right side up you'll see kind of a pumpkin. It's orange. It's kind of like a game right now. Now let's get to the Monkey business. Uncle Danny and Garrett are having a little party. Momma also took this picture.

Garrett likes to nap a lot. Right now he's sleeping on Momma. The End.
